🐇Remote Work Policy🐇

Boss Bunny

Where flexibility meets productivity—and bunnies hop freely through your day!

Why This Exists

We want everyone to live their best lives while doing their best work. Whether you're cuddling your bunny (literally or metaphorically), balancing family time, or just enjoying some peace at home, this policy is here to help remote work be both fun and functional.

This is for you. The better you are, the better we are!

How It Works

1. Work Hours: Find Your Flow

  • Stick to your usual work hours, but we get it—life happens! Need to walk the dog, feed the kids, or throw carrots at your pet rabbit? Just let your team know if you need flexibility.

  • We encourage breaks! Grab a snack, stretch, or take a moment to soak up some sunshine. You’ll work better if you feel better.

  • Do not work too long hours, too often. It's enough. Go to bed.

2. Communication: Stay Connected (But Not Glued!)

  • We love a good chat or video call, but keep it human. Cameras encouraged but optional, shorts welcome.

  • Team syncs and 1-on-1's are important, so make sure you’re there when they happen. If your kid (or kit) pops up to say hi during a call, we all wave back.

  • As a rule of thumb on our async channels we just expect you to follow along, not to be active all the time. If we expect you to answer we will let you know.

3. Workspace: Carve Out Your Bunny Burrow

  • Your workspace should be comfy, quiet (ish), and bunny-safe. Whether it’s a desk, a corner of your dining table, a cozy beanbag, or a cafe, make it yours.

  • Need a chair that doesn’t squeak or an extra monitor? Talk to us—we want you set up for success.

  • We strongly encourage a proper monitor. Do not sit hunched over that laptop for days on end!

  • Once we make a bit more than $0 we will assist you in your setup.

Extras That Matter

🥕 Healthy Habits for Happy Humans

  • Keep your energy up with snacks (yes, even carrot sticks). Hydration is key—coffee counts!

  • Move around! Stretch, dance, or do bunny hops (binkying). Staying active boosts both mood and focus.

  • Mental health matters. If you’re having an off day, let someone know. We’re here for you.

❤️ Family First

  • Your family (kids, partners, pets, or your aloe plant) is part of the package. Need to hit pause for school pickup or storytime? Totally fine.

  • We’re big on role modeling balance. Your work should fit around life, not the other way.

🧠 Learn & Grow

  • We’ll cover training courses, books, or other learning resources. Want to take an online class or attend a webinar? Go for it.

  • Got a hobby you love? Carve out some free hours to unplug and nurture it—whether it’s knitting, gaming, or baking bunny-shaped cookies.

Team Expectations

🎯 Goals Over Hours

  • Focus on your output, not how many hours you log. Did you crush that deadline and bake banana bread? Gold star!

  • Regular check-ins keep everyone on track—no micromanaging, promise.

  • Keep your team informed

🔒 Safety & Security

  • Keep your work data safe (encryption, strong passwords, and 2FA - Always). No sharing secrets with your bunny. (We know they’re trustworthy, but still.)

  • Use secure Wi-Fi or VPNs when accessing company systems. If tech troubles hop in, we’ve got people to help.

🏡 Your Sanctuary, Your Rules

  • Dress code? Wear what makes you happy. Pajamas? Great. A hoodie? Awesome. Full cosplay? Respect.

  • Noise? We understand that real life happens. Kids giggling, cats meowing, or that one neighbor mowing the lawn—it's all part of remote work charm.

  • Oh and by the way - You can work from anywhere. People call it 'work from home' but here it's 'work from anywhere'.

Perks & Support

  • Meal Breaks: We’re pro-lunch! Step away, make something tasty, and enjoy it (bonus points if you share recipes).

  • Free Hours: Take a proper breather. Go for a walk, play with your kids, or just stare at the clouds.

  • Check-ins: Regular well-being chats to make sure you’re not hopping alone. We care about you as a person, not just as a teammate.

When It’s Not Working

Sometimes remote work doesn’t fit perfectly for certain roles or situations. If that’s the case, we’ll work together to adjust things—no hard feelings.

Final Thoughts

We’re all humans (and maybe a few bunnies) here. Remote work is about trust, balance, and finding what works for you. Keep communicating, stay kind, and remember: productivity doesn’t mean sitting still for eight hours straight.

🐇 Now go forth and thrive—both in work and in life.
